ADA has pioneered a seamless approach to managing multi-agency contracts with purpose-built facilities, cutting-edge technology, and tailored solutions. Here’s how ADA partnered with the Department of Home Affairs to deliver exceptional results for the Australian Border Force and Australian Federal Police.
The scope involved overcoming complex hurdles:
Scaling Efficiency for Complex Multi-Agency Needs
The Department of Home Affairs required a unified system to manage the supply of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) to multiple agencies like the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and Australian Border Force (ABF).
Our mission was to design a centralised, technology-driven service model capable of efficiently meeting the agencies’ complex demands while maintaining cost control. By breaking operational silos through centralised excellence, ADA achieved success with a nimble, unified solution that harnessed innovation, purpose-built infrastructure, and process accuracy.

ADA fostered trust and efficiency through:
“Australian Defence Apparel (ADA) supplies the AFP with uniforms for standard operational, and professional members. The AFP uniform plays a vital role in shaping our organisation’s identity as a multi-faceted, forward-facing policing agency, that defends Australia’s domestic security and protects vulnerable communities. The public looks to AFP members in uniform to maintain the highest standards from dress to conduct. Regardless of where we police, our uniform is required to be able to hold up to the rigors of multitude of diverse work roles and extreme environments. The AFP is extremely pleased with the strong working relationship with ADA and its commitment to quality, reliability, collaboration and professionalism.”
“In 2022, the Australian Border Force (ABF) engaged the services of Australian Defence Apparel (ADA) for the provision of uniform and personal, protective equipment. The contract has afforded quality, fit for purpose attire for officers. As the contract has matured, so have ADA, ensuring our business requirements are met and have exceeded expectation in terms of co-design, understanding our Commonwealth Legislation and the ongoing investment into sustainability."
Building on this collaboration, ADA is actively developing:
